Martha at 10 weeks

Now she's getting bigger, though I don't see it, but I am assured that she is by visitors, and she's had a load of injections as well. She's even outgrown an outfit already. Turns out she's good with the camera too and is growing in patience with my ability to use it, getting bored after 10 or 15 minutes rather than the 3 or 4 of earlier weeks.

Grandparents Johnston with her outside the house using the "Baby Bjorn" to carry her, an accessory that appears to be essential to every parent round here. Alas, we do not have the most up to date model, but an older, less desirable one.

My attempt at artisting infant photography (below). Each frame is individual, showing how she stretches around all the time. Adrian

Martha at 2 months

For Adrian's birthday, we had some professional photos done by our photographer friend (the one who did the wedding photos), David Banks Kong. See if you can tell which of these are the professional's, which the amateur's, attempts!

On her first outing to Totland in Berkeley, Martha enjoyed the shadow patterns cast by the leaves. Wardrobe: by Grandma Martin

Increasing numbers of smiles lately... with some rubbing together of hands, a la Monty Burns.

The tongue continues to be a source of curiosity and entertainment.
